A website for everyone

We want every family, student and friend of Tyndale to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or other assistive technology.

What we have done

• Pages use clear headings and landmarks, so they can be navigated by screen readers.
• Every meaningful image has a text description.
• Text and backgrounds are chosen for strong contrast.
• Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
• Motion is gentle, and it stops for visitors whose device asks for reduced motion. The video at the top of the home page can be paused.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
